Overview
The Dubai Frame is an architectural landmark in Zabeel Park, Dubai. It has been described as ”The biggest picture frame on the planet”. It is designed by Architect Fernando Donis. Its construction started in 2013 and was completed in 2018. The construction cost of Dubai Mall is US$60 Million and was opened on 01 January 2018. It is officially run by Dubai Municipality. The structure is the latest in the city’s line of eye-catching megaprojects, offering up panoramic views of the skyline while framing views of iconic buildings such as the Burj Khalifa for visitors.

- The Dubai government held a design competition for this project and Fernando Donis from the Netherlands was selected from 926 proposals and won the $100,000 prize.
